These bead necklaces are handmade by Ugandan women   A fair trade company dedicated to improving the lives of women in poverty through economic opportunity.     These art bead necklaces are designed and created by the women of Uganda.  Many of these women are AIDS widows, the sole supporters of their families.  The necklaces are purchased directly from them at local markets.  Each necklace is a uniquely handmade item.  Your purchase generates a market for these women living in poverty.
