The book reports were awesome. The character cans were so cute. The play, Gotta Go To Mexico, was given at the monarch party and will be given at the elementary this week. One group will finish Goad the Toad in Reading Mastery. The other group will be working from individual reading folders. Sept. 29-Oct.3 Students this week will be writing their book report for the quarter. They will also be performing "I Gotta Go To Mexico" for several audiences. Reading groups will continue in SRA Reading Mastery.	The boys will finish reading Monarchs at Risk and the girls will complete lessons 38 and 39 of A Horse to Remember. All students will be writing book reports during class. Sept.29- Oct. 3 The boys will complete Monarchs At Risk and the girls will start a multiple part lesson in SRA Reading Mastery about steeplechase racing. Students will also write an ending to Isabel's House.	Students will complete lessons 20-22 in Saxon Math III. Skills will include rounding to the nearest 10, sums to 10, and solving word problems. Sept.29- Oct.3 Students will complete lessons 17- 20 in Saxon Math III. We will work on number patterns, reading a thermometer, and writing an extended response to a math question.	Students will complete lessons 21-23 in Saxon math. Skills will include area, perimeter, and rounding to the nearest 100. Sept.29-Oct.3 Students will complete lessons 17- 20 in Saxon Math. Topics will include rounding to the nearest dollar, finding perimeter, and finding the diameter and radius of a circle.
