Third Quarter

Welcome to Craig Rigg’s English Page.  The navigation bar at the left  will direct you to the appropriate courses and activities.

Since I am now part-time staff, the only time to reach me at school is between 10:45 and 11:00 a.m.  Or you may leave a message at my home phone listed above.

It is my desire that students become literate readers and writers, able to function in the community and adapt to changes that will come their way. That’s the ideal.  The reality is that by the end of the school year, we hope you’ll be able to answer the following question in the affirmative:  Does your child know more and can do more than he or she knew or could do at the beginning of the year?

Web Browser Alert!

Because I use Microsoft Publisher to create this webpage, some of the text and formatting will not function properly on some other browsers.  Microsoft has tagged a few special codes in both products that make them running smoothly but also make them act crazy in other formats.  Sadly to say, if you want to see the full picture, you’ll probably have to use Explorer as your primary browser.

Gradebook Alert!

This year, teachers at West Prairie High School are required to use a joint gradebook called My Gradebook.  To check a student’s progress/performance, navigate to the company’s website at www.mygradebook.com

You will need to create an account (if a new user) or you may use last year’s account information.  You’ll need to provide a username and password, both of which have been assigned to you by the school district.  If you don’t possess these log-in tools  (students were given them to take home), check with the school secretary, Susan Hobby, or the school counselor, Karen Kuras.
